X-wing the official strategy guide

The Farlander Papers was a small, limited edition book/manual I wrote for LucasArts to include in the X-Wing game package. You'll find most (but not all) of that book between these pages as well. Why? Because The Farlander Papers is a collector's edition, but we all felt that the information contained in that book is a necessary part of the X-Wing experience. If you already have The Farlander Papers, don't worry. You haven't wasted your money with this book. There's a lot more in here that we believe you'll find very valuable (see the Road Map on the following page). X-Wing: The Official Strategy Guide is divided into discrete parts. Some of the book is just a story tying together the missions and X-Wing experience through the eyes of Keyan Farlander, a recent Alliance recruit. I've made every attempt to create an entertaining and (mostly) consistent story for your enjoyment. However, it should not be necessary to read any of the story elements to gain mastery of the the important strategy information is given in clearly differentiated pages of the book.
